Hello World!

Lake Conasauga, Chattahoochee National Forest, Murray County, Georgia, US

The drive to Lake Conasauga is one of my favorites. From Elatse'Yi, the drive carries you through downtown Ellijay, east on 52, and north through the beautiful countryside of North Georgia. The road eventually turns into gravel (which I do not mind one bit), twists past picnic spots and waterfalls, then surprises you with this breathtaking scenery. You will definitely need to stop and take a few pictures. 
Continue the drive and you will stumble upon Lake Conasauga. It's the highest lake above sea level in the state of Georgia! It's remote, it's quiet, it's lovely.
